Campers enjoy all of Sparrow Lake Camp’s diverse activities, including:

A typical day at camp

Because Sparrow Lake Camp is intentionally smaller, every camper quickly gets to know each other and forms real, lasting connections.

Adventure Starts on the Way to Camp
Our summer camp bus service picks up campers from Toronto, Vaughan, Oakville/Mississauga, Ajax, and Orillia, giving extra time to catch up with friends before the adventure begins.

Stay Connected, While Staying Away
Parents can follow their camper’s journey through our online photo gallery and letters home—though campers rarely want to leave early!

Junior Campers

Junior Camp is a special “camp within a camp” designed to provide the extra care and attention that younger campers often need.

Junior campers enjoy the same wide range of activities as older campers, with programming thoughtfully adapted to suit their age and energy levels. A higher staff-to-camper ratio as needed, along with dedicated and experienced staff, ensures children receive the additional support that helps them feel comfortable and confident at camp. An earlier bedtime and specially designed activities also help campers stay happy, rested, and engaged.

Cabins are grouped by age so campers live with peers in their own age range. Depending on enrolment, this typically includes cabins for 6–7-year-olds and 8–9-year-olds, grouped by gender.
