How now, friends and foes? My name is Kris, and I use she/they pronouns. This is my second year working at SLC and my ninth year working at summer camps. When I’m not at camp, I work at an animal shelter, helping animals find their forever homes. Fun fact! If intelligent alien life exists, I would volunteer to be an attraction in their zoo.

Hey Sparrow! I’ll be back this summer as an LIT coordinator for my 4th year on staff and my 10th year since I started coming to the camp. Outside of camp, I love all kinds of sports, music, and movies, and I’d love to talk to you about any of these! My favourite parts of camp are campfires, air bands, s’mores pie (obviously), and making new friends, and I can’t wait for more of all of these this summer. I’m looking forward to meeting everyone, let’s have a great summer!

My name is Jude Judson. I am so excited to be an inclusion counsellor for this upcoming summer at Sparrow Lake Camp! I have experience working at a summer camp for those with special needs. I have also undergone summer camp leadership programs. I dedicate my Ame to volunteering with individuals who have special needs at a respite centre. Including everyone at SLC is crucial to me as I believe every person can grow at camp! I am thrilled to dedicate my summer to helping your child grow, thrive, and have fun!

Hey Sparrow! I’m so excited to be coming back again this summer. My favourite part of camp is by far getting to meet all of you. I love all our dining hall chants, campfires and hot days in the lake. From meeting campers off the bus to final campfire, every session is filled with so much love, laughter and memories. I’ve been attending camp since 2018 and coming to Sparrow has always been the highlight of my summer! Can’t wait to see what this summer brings, see you guys soon!

I am very outgoing and love to laugh so make sure to come up with some funny jokes to tell me! I also love bracelets so I can't wait to help perfect your bracelet making skills. Hi! I’m Lindsay Woods. I am excited for my first summer at Sparrow Lake Camp. I have spent the past ten summers canoeing in Temagami as well as Lake Kipawa, and have paddled the Missinaibi, Harricana, and Dumoine rivers. I have also spent 3 summers as a counsellor with a day camp in Toronto and loved working with campers in the Wilderness Explorers Program. During the school year I am a business student at an Ontario University. I can’t wait to see you at camp this summer!

Hey everyone! My name is Sadie. This will be my second year on staff, I am so excited to see all the familiar and hopefully new faces too! I’ve been coming to sparrow lake since 2019 and have had some of my best summer memories here. I’m looking forward to making new fun memories with campers this summer. I enjoy ropes, arts and crafts, especially making bracelets, and the water activities here at camp. I’m so excited for an amazing summer with all the new and returning campers!
