Campers enjoy all of Sparrow Lake Camp’s diverse activities, including:
Swimming, paddling, and sailing on the lake
Climbing, fort-building, and camping out
Arts and crafts, from friendship bracelets to more elaborate projects
Legendary camp-wide games like Quidditch and “Phobia”
Campfires and s’mores pie

More Bus Locations
Our summer camp bus service picks up campers from Toronto, Vaughan, Oakville/Mississauga, Ajax, and Orillia, giving extra time to catch up with friends before the adventure begins.

Parents can follow their camper’s journey through our online photo gallery and 2-way messaging that lets campers write personal paper letters that can be scanned sent to your phone.
Junior Campers (Ages 6–9)
The Perfect First Overnight Camp Experience
Our 5-night sessions are great for all ages, but also have elements designed to help younger campers ease into overnight camp—without feeling overwhelmed. It’s long enough to really get to know the camp, make new friends, and build confidence… but short enough to feel manageable.
And most importantly:
it’s going to be a lot of fun.
A Camp Experience Built Just for Younger Campers
Our Junior Camp Cabins are a special “camp within a camp,” designed with the needs of younger campers in mind.
They enjoy the same wide range of activities as our older campers—swimming, canoeing, crafts, games, campfires—everything that makes camp, camp.
But it’s all thoughtfully adapted to match their age, energy, and attention spans.
Extra Support When They Need It
Starting something new is a big step. We make sure your child feels supported every step of the way.
Higher staff-to-camper ratios when needed
Experienced, caring staff who are trained to specialize in younger campers
Gentle guidance through routines and transitions

Friends Their Own Age
Like older campers, Junior campers live in cabins with children in their same age group, typically:
6–7 year olds
8–9 year olds
Grouped by gender, these small communities help friendships form quickly and naturally.
