Hey, I’m Max (He/They)! This is my third year as a staff member at Sparrow Lake and my second year working in the kitchen. I love to cook and eat good food, read, crochet, and make new friends. I’m excited to be coming back as the 1st Assistant Cook this year, and look forward to cooking up some amazing meals with the rest of the kitchen team!

Hello, I’m Lex (she/her/any)! I previously attended SLC as a camper from 2014 to 2019, and I’m super excited to be returning as a member of staff this year! Food was always an integral part of the camp experience for me, so I’m honoured to be in a position to help provide some hearty meals for everyone!

Hi! I’m Isabella, and I’ll be working as the 2nd Assistant Cook. I am relatively new to camp having only volunteered for a week last year but I’m so excited to be helping cook nourishing meals for everyone to enjoy this summer!

Hi, my names Karen, this is my first year at camp, and I will be working as an assistant cook. I previously worked in a kitchen at a fishing lodge, and I am very excited to work in a kitchen again! I love cooking and baking. I’m excited to be part of camp, meet new people, and help make meals that everyone can enjoy. Outside of the kitchen, I’m looking forward to getting involved in camp activities and making the most of the summer

Hey my name’s Annie and this is my second year at a camp. I previously worked at camp Hurontario and loved the experience so much I decided to do it again. Last year I was a dishwasher and I am so excited to be a kitchen staff member. I love crafting and learning new things. I can't wait for the 2026 summer season.

My name is Muheebat, my pronouns are she/her/hers, I was born in December 2010 and I am new to Sparrow Lake camp and I'm new to working and living on a camp. I was born in Nigeria and moved to Canada.

My name is Brooklyn, my pronouns are she/her. My dream job is being a chef that travels the world, so I can travel for free by working an international job. Preferably I want to work on a cruise ship or yacht also resorts. Growing up I went to camp every summer at a camp called Hermosa. My family went to camp every year and when we were old enough we went to the kids camp. The last couple years I have volunteered for different things at camp (ex. leader and kitchen hand).
