Sparrow Lake Camp is fortunate to have 126 mixed wooded and open acres to explore. Amongst them are three very special areas we are offering as campsites this summer. Located around the peninsula where Sparrow Lake Camp is located, ‘Cranberry’, and ‘Rice’ campsites are little bits of paradise on the shores of Sparrow Lake. Sites are removed from the main camp, and afford excellent privacy from others on shore, while being open to the lake along the shore.

‘Cranberry’ Campsite - Walk or Canoe in

‘Cranberry’ campsite is easily accessible by a 5-10 minute moderate difficulty hike over some short steeper hills and mixed terrain along marked trails. If you are new to hiking in with your equipment, we would recommend that everything you bring is in a backpack, or use a canoe to paddle your things over.

The ‘Rice’ campsite is best accessed by a short canoe paddle along the shore to the north-west corner of our property, or by a 30 minute hike through mixed terrain. A complimentary canoe rental is included with your booking to any site.

Campers using these sites are entitled to activity Day Passes at a rate of $50/group of 4, available at the camp office on the days you wish to use the camp facilities.

Campsites feature a wooden tent platform, fire pit, grill, and ‘Thunder Box’ for calls of nature, but are otherwise unfurnished. You are responsible to bring your own camping equipment, food, sleeping bags, and anything else you need to enjoy your stay.

Campsites are used by the children’s camp program and are therefor only available during the spring and summer Holiday Camp sessions. Site request will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis and all bookings must be made on our partner site, HipCamp.
