ACTIVITIES
New for Summer 2026, this activity brings together everything campers love about the water! Stand-up paddleboard your way to a great snorkelling spot, kayak along the shores of Sparrow Lake, or hop in a paddleboat for a bit of fishing. And of course, there’s plenty of time for the star attraction: our new Inflatable Water Park! Featuring a water trampoline, inflatable log, slide, Jungle Jim, and more, campers can jump or chill, splash or thrill, and beat the summer heat with this epic new variety activity.
You can't have camp without Arts & Crafts! Friendship bracelets, jewellery, buttons, tie-dye, shrink-art, sculptures, crafts, and more - the only limit is your imagination!
Sparrow Lake is an ideal location to learn to canoe! With a focus on both instruction and fun, campers learn to sweep, pry, stroke, dip, and splash their own way along the beautiful shores of the lake.
Led by a local resident ceramic artist and educator, this program promises to be the next big thing in 2026. Located in our fabulous treehouse, ceramics will offer kids the opportunity to sculpt and create using a both air-dry and kiln-fired clay.
Known by anglers for its great fishing, the warm shallow water around our camp is a great place to land a lunker! Bass, Pike, Perch, Walleye, Bowfin, Sunfish, and even the elusive Muskie are known to be found in Sparrow Lake.
Hockey, Basketball, Volleyball, Baseball, Soccer, and more are all game at Landsports. Campers of all ages can join in the action during regular sessions and during free swim too!
A more laid-back way to play, but not without some hot competition. Ga-Ga Ball, Tetherball, Cornhole, Frisbee Golf and more fun 'cottage games' are part of this relaxed and social games activity.
Step into the spotlight in Performing Arts! Campers dive into drama games, improv challenges, and creative storytelling while building confidence and having a ton of laughs along the way. Whether you love being on stage or are trying it for the first time, you’ll work with others to create something fun—and even put on a show for the entire camp to enjoy.
Certified instructors lead campers through this high-flying aerial adventure. With a climbing wall, vertical playpen, rickety bridge, aerial trust dive, flying squirrel, and more, campers are challenged to step outside their comfort zones while having a blast—no matter their skill level.
Take the helm of our fleet of RS Quest and Topper Taz sailboats this summer! Catch the wind, learn the ropes, and build real sailing skills with the help of our experienced (and fun!) instructors. Whether you’re a first-time sailor or ready to level up, you’ll earn your next SLC sailing badge while cruising the waters of Sparrow Lake.
With a sandy beach and cool (but not too cool!) water, our swim area is the perfect place to beat the summer heat. Under the watchful eye of our certified lifeguards, campers splash, swim, and enjoy Sparrow Lake the very best way we know how.
Take aim with bows and slingshots - along with a few new surprises for 2026. Our rebuilt shooting gallery and target range will have plenty of challenge and new ways for campers to hone their skills.
Our Wonder of Wilderness program is a mix of all sorts of Campcraft from shelter building and nature hikes, to outdoor cooking and whittling.
SO MUCH TO DO — YOU’LL WISH YOU HAD ALL SUMMER!
Each day includes five activity periods. The first two are scheduled to give campers time with their cabin groups, where they try a wide variety of activities, build friendships, and make memories together.
In the afternoons, campers enjoy more independence and choice. With two ‘Camper-Choice’ periods and ‘Free Swim’, campers can focus on the activities they enjoy most, develop new skills, and achieve things they simply can’t do at home or at school.
Below is a list of activities offered during the two daily Camper-Choice periods. Campers select their preferred activities in order of interest, and we use scheduling software to create a personalized activity schedule based on those preferences and availability. Every camper will also experience each activity at least once during the morning sessions with their cabin group.
